I am so in love with my wife! Tomorrow is our third anniversary. The past three years have been the best of my life. I would post a picture of her on my blog but I can’t figure out how to get my digtial camera to export the picture to the computer. So you will have to take my word that she is breath taking. What makes my wife so breath taking is how great of a person she is. Becky cares for the uncared, she makes time for everyone, people know that see loves them because it is more than words with her. I could keep writing for hours about how great my wife is. But the thing I want to communicate to the world is that I passionately love my wife.

I wonder if our focus on sin is causing us to miss the main thing? I ask this question because it seems to me that when we focus on who is sinning and who is not sinning we start to become exclusive. We can no longer work with certian christians because we view their type of christianity as wrong. For example,  a church that thinks it is okay to have women in leadership might not be an acceptable partner to some churches who view that as being wrong, when women in leadership is a debatable issue. I feel like us focusing on sin so much creates walls that do not need to be there when trying to fulfill the mission. Not only that but we reward those who take a stand on issues that take away from the main issue of bringing hope to the hopeless. We congragulate people as being bold for Jesus when they tell others they are wrong for what they think no matter how unimportant the issue is. When we do that I think we are promoting nothingness. Maybe the god of today’s christianity is right thinking. My friend Bryan always says you can think all the right thoughts and still live poorly. I don’t want to live like that anymore.
